'First Stages' is an exciting venture launched in January 2008 aiming to give young people training and experience of musical theatre. We are based in Devizes Wiltshire and meet weekly with three 10-week semesters per year with Showcase performances, Gala Shows and performances at major events.

Members have the opportunity to practise and perform solos, duets and ensemble numbers in our shows.

There is professional training in singing, dancing, acting and general stagecraft as well as audition coaching and the chance to apply for professional work through an agency.

This is a totally not for profit enterprise and not connected with any other musical theatre group in Devizes. Fees for each 10 week semester will cover the costs of rehearsal rooms, insurance, music, and workshop tutor fees etc. All income raised from shows and bookings will be used to develop First Stages further.

Ordinary sessions are on Tuesdays from 6.30pm - 8.00pm at Rowde Primary School, High Street, Rowde SN10 2ND - see the map on the right.
